Outside playtime

The kids got some MUCH needed outdoor playtime this afternoon. It was 73 degrees and so clear and perfect. Elijah ran around, shot some hoops, and played with his dump truck. Brooklyn ran in circles around one specific plant while holding tightly to a piece of sidewalk chalk. We finished it up by taking a walk to get the mail.

Christmas at our home

We didn't get back to AZ till January, so we celebrated Christmas at our home in the new year. We started a new "tradition" this year, where they each receive 3 gifts from me - the same as Christ did from the wise men. I'm so excited that my children LOVE to talk about and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
